[ Archive ]

This fine limestone was introduced to England by the Normans in 1068. Over the centuries the material has been used to build many notable manor houses and cathedrals. Caen displays a subtle colour range and fine texture and is one of the most beautiful limestones available, this material can be carved with incredibly sharp edges and formed into fine masonry.
