Porticos and porches

We design and make bespoke porticos in brick or natural stone for new builds and restorations. Choose clean modern lines to make an elegant-yet-understated feature of your entrance, or ornate columns and elaborate entablatures for a grand statement.

Besides the classic Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns and flat or triangular entablatures that comprise many Georgian and Victorian porticos, we also design and make original modern porticos. All of our portico designs can be complemented by bespoke steps, balustrades and door surrounds.
Natural stone porticos
Our stone masons can make your solid stone portico from any of our masonry stones. For renovations or restorations, we stock Wealden Sussex Sandstone and Yorkstone, as well as Port Regent limestone, which can be used to replace Portland Stone, and Port Lime, which emulates Bath Stone.
Brick porticos
Because we design and hand make special shaped bricks, we can also design them for your brick portico. Our red masons are skilled brick carvers and can shape and embellish the bricks to create unusual and unique entrances. More about brick specials
