At our head office showroom, or read about them on-line in the design section. In addition, you can also visit our Brickworks, Quarry, Head Office or Terracotta works providing that we are given adequate notice of your arrival (24 hours minimum please). Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee Saturday visits.
Where is Lambs Natural Wealden Sussex Sandstone extracted?
From our own quarry in West Hoathly, near East Grinstead in West Sussex.
Can I visit the quarry?
Yes, provided that we are given adequate notice of your arrival (24 hours minimum please). Please call our Head Office number (NOT the quarry) on 01403 785 141 to arrange an appointment. Do Lambs manufacture bespoke finished masonry?
Yes we will manufacture finished masonry to match any size or design on an existing building
Do Lambs supply other natural lime and sandstone types as well as Wealden Sussex Sandstone?
Yes we are able to supply natural Portland, Bath, York, Clipsham and Durham stone to name just a few from our extensive yard stock at Philpots quarry
Do Lambs supply reconstituted stone?
Yes, Lambs are able to supply re constituted stone in a dry cast or wet cast format in a number of finishes and colours although generally we offer natural stone as a first choice
Do Lambs supply standard sizes of Wealden Sussex Sandstone?
Yes, Lambs supply a standard range of stone suitable for masonry, dry stone walling and landscaping purposes - please see our product range (link to stone product page)
Do Lambs supply feature stones?
Yes, Lambs supply a range of feature stone which are ideally suited to landscaping projects
Can Lambs products be used for more than restoration projects?
Very much so, our products are excellent for new build too. See the list of representative new build projects for some examples of where they've been used
Do Lambs sell their material to the public as well as builders, builders merchants and architects?
Yes, Lambs are happy to deal with all members of the public as well as the building trade
Do Lambs supply small quantities of stone as well as large amounts?
Yes, Lambs are happy to deal with both large and small contracts providing both with an equal level of service

What happens if I need to match stone?
Lambs visit the site and take details and measurements and then produce a quotation. Alternatively, you can send us drawings, samples or photographs with sizes and quantities required. From this information we can provide you with a quotation in the first instance

Do Lambs produce drawings of non standard stone?
Yes, Lambs produce full size working drawings upon receipt of your order and forward these to you for approval prior to manufacture
Do Lambs deliver goods to site?
Yes, Lambs operate their own delivery service as well as using an approved list of specialist haulage contractors who are trained to deliver our goods
When I receive a stone delivery, how will I know what's what?
Lambs materials are clearly marked to correspond with their drawings
What areas do Lambs deliver to?
We supply our materials to contracts throughout the UK and Worldwide by special arrangement
What about exporting?
Yes, Lambs export their material worldwide
How does Lambs stone arrive on site?
On pallets, shrink wrapped unless indicated otherwise by our office
Do Lambs supply labour to construct their materials into the work?
No. Lambs do not offer a construction service. However, upon request we can recommend suitable builders to assist our clients
